Tombstone Tuesday - Ola Mae Perkins Hogan (1986)

Ola Mae Perkins was born to Sidney Leander and Ora Alberta (Blanton) Perkins on 10 Sept 1900 in Cass County, Texas. She married Otis Oscar Wells on 11 Aug 1915 in Cass County Texas. Her only son, Horace Vaughn Wells, was born on 03 Mar 1916. She went on to have one more child, a daughter named Ruth in 1919. Later, Otis and Ola parted ways. At the age of 40 she married Edward James Hogan, on 24 May 1941. Their 12 year marriage was parted by his death on 10 Nov 1953, but he was her one true love. Following subsequent marriages she always returned to carry the surname Hogan. Nearly fifty years after his death they were reunited on 29 Jun 1986. His surname graces her headstone: Ola Mae Perkins Hogan.

  4. Actually, I do not know all the names of Ola's husbands. Out of the names I do know, Joel Lytal is not one of them. Do you think they were once married? Thank you for contacting me! :)
